Pastor’s Note:
We are off to a good start with our fall program.
Much work has gone into getting us started right.
It takes the dedication of many in our fellowship to make this
all happen. I so appreciate
each one’s efforts and sacrifices in helping Bigelow grow spiritually.
It has been exciting to see so many participate in our Core
Seminar, “A Foundation for the Family.”
As has been mentioned on numerous occasions, this seminar is for
the church family, which is made up of individuals, couples and
families. So, there is a
place for everyone regardless of family status.
It is not too late to come and learn.
Pastor Brian has been the driving force behind our Core Seminar.
He has been researching, studying, praying, and writing the
majority of the sessions presented. Pastor Brian has a passion for teaching and preaching God’s
Word accurately. We are
thankful that God has brought Pastor Brian and his family to us.
Please continue to pray for Pastor Brian as he provides
leadership in this area of ministry.
On October 2, we will have a missionary presentation from the
Young’s. Many of you may
recall that we met them nearly 8 years ago, and we have supported them
ever since. They will make
a presentation in our Disciple Hour time, and also during our morning
service. Following their
presentation, I will be continuing our study of 1 John.
Please remember to pray for all of our missionaries.
And, a final reminder, I will be traveling to the Ukraine again
this year. I will leave
early November and return mid-November.
You still have time to give toward this work.
The money given will be used to help support our brothers and
sisters in the Ukraine. We
have set aside October 30 as our Fifth Sunday Special Offering for this
purpose. Just designate
your gift for “Pastor’s Trip.”
I so appreciate your support of this work in the Ukraine.
But, more importantly, will you commit to praying for the trip.
Pray for much spiritual fruit in the lives of these dear folks,
and for those of us who will be going to minister to them.
I look forward to sharing what God is doing in the Ukraine when I
return.
Please avail yourselves of the many growth opportunities that are
available to you. We have
the Core Seminar, Disciple Hour, AWANA, BJF, Women’s Prayer Group,
Prayer Chain, Visitation, and so many more.
May God cause us all to grow in Christlikeness.
I close, as always, with a note of thanks.
I thank God for your participation in the ministry of Bigelow
Church. I also want to
thank you for your willingness to pray, serve, and support the work of
Bigelow Church. May God be
glorified!
In Christ,
Pastor Frank
