Pastor’s Note:
Each year we have the privilege of having Pastor
Paul Harper of Rainham, England come to teach us.
This year he will be with us on Sunday morning, April 4 at 10:45
am, and then again on April 5 & 6 at 7 pm.
Paul always has a timely message from God’s Word that
challenges us to consider the Sovereignty of God.
And, we leave with a better sense of God’s power and love for
His own. Please make an
effort to attend these three special meetings. I look forward to seeing you, and those you have invited at
each meeting.
Also, we are having a special Maundy Thursday
service on April 8 at 7 pm. We
will hear from our choir a collection of the anthems they have presented
to us over the past month or so. We
will sing hymns, and partake of the Lord’s Supper as well.
I will have the privilege of opening God’s Word as we consider
Jesus’ work on our behalf in saving us from God’s wrath.
Please make an effort to spend this special evening together as a
church body. This service
provides a great opportunity for us to invite those unchurched and
unsaved family, friends, and coworkers.
What a wonderful week we have planned for our fellowship.
Sermon Series
We continue our study of the book of Hebrews each Sunday morning. We still have five chapters left to consider.
What a wonderful portrait of the person and work of Jesus Christ
we find in this book. When
we complete this study we will make a trip back to the Old Testament.
I have a couple books in mind to consider—Judges, Joshua, or
Amos.
Evening Study
We are close to finishing our study of Psalm 119.
There is still much to learn in the closing sections of this
chapter, so come and join in the study.
Once we finish Psalm 119 we will take some time to consider the
many “one another” passages found in the New Testament.
I trust we will be encouraged and challenged by this study, as we
consider the relationship we are to have with others in the body of
Christ.
Disciplehour
Our Disciplehour continues each Sunday morning at 9:45 am.
We have plenty of room for you.
We have three adult classes to choose from.
And, we have classes for nursery age to high school.
I believe you will be blessed by attending these classes as a
family. So, please make the effort to bring yourself and your family
to this time of learning.
Upcoming Studies
Plans are being made to have another Crown Financial Small Group
Bible Study. This study has
been a great blessing to those who have participated thus far.
I believe that this study will be of great benefit to you, so
please watch for the details and sign up to participate.
Also, it is my hope to start a small group study at
my home this month. The
study is titled “Changed Into His Image.”
The study is about how we can change into the image of Christ,
and in so doing know great joy and freedom.
The study is thirteen weeks long, and it requires a commitment to
read daily, and to answer questions related to that reading.
A sign up sheet is on the back table.
If you are interested, the information needed to decide is found
there.

I am thankful to God for the privilege of serving as your pastor.
And, I am thankful for your faithfulness in your attendance,
giving, use of your gifts, and encouragement.
We have been given a wonderful place to worship, freedom to
worship as we choose, and the power to change into the image of Christ.
May God continue His work in our midst.
